2. Data Collection

(a) Contact inquiries: When you contact us via the contact form or email, we store your name and email address to process your inquiry and discuss your project. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

(b) Reference photos: Photos you provide are stored exclusively for the duration of the creative process. They are deleted within 30 days of delivery of the final digital files, unless you request extended storage. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

(c) Order data: When you place an order, we store your name, email, and order details for contract fulfillment and statutory retention periods. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

(d) AI-Assisted Image Generation: To create your digital imagery, we use OpenAI’s ChatGPT application to process your reference photos for AI-assisted image generation. When reference photos are uploaded to ChatGPT, they are transmitted to OpenAI Ireland Ltd. (for EEA users) / OpenAI, L.L.C. (San Francisco, USA). OpenAI processes the data under its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We have disabled model training on inputs in our account settings. However, OpenAI may retain uploaded content for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring. We recommend that customers review OpenAI’s Privacy Policy: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance); Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) where applicable.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., 354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA. Your payment details (credit card, debit card) are transmitted directly to Stripe and processed on their servers. Calvoran LLC does not store your credit card or bank details. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

4. Data Transfer to the United States

Your data is processed by US-based service providers: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing), Vercel Inc. (hosting of calvoran.com), Wix.com Ltd. (hosting of manusimpossible.com, with servers in EU and USA), and OpenAI Ireland Ltd. / OpenAI, L.L.C. (AI-assisted image generation). These transfers are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and/or Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

5. Website Hosting and Cookies

This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd. Wix may set technically necessary cookies and collect server log data (IP address, browser type, access time). For details, see Wix’s privacy policy: wix.com/about/privacy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable website operation).
